By clicking on “projects” in the top navigation bar, you can see a list of all of your projects separated out by teams.
How do I create a new project?
As an account admin or team admin, you can create a new project for a team. Under the projects menu in the navigation or on the main projects page, you will see an option to “Create New Project.” When you create a project, you must create it for a specific team. Projects cannot belong to multiple teams at this point, but stay tuned on that front.
Is there a limit to the number of projects I can create?
Nope! You can create as many projects as your heart desires.
How do I create a new project?
An admin has two ways to create a new project.
From the main navigation, select projects and then create new. If a new project is created this way, you will need to specify which team you are creating a project for.
On the all project page, there is a + create new project thumbnail under specific team sections. If a new project is created this way, you do not have to specify which team you are creating for.
Select which shot list template you want or start from scratch
Each project will have a shot list, which is the customized list of shots you want you filmers to capture for the project. When creating a new project you can go totally custom by creating your unique own shot list, or you can choose from a preset shot list that is already created for you. You can edit the shot list from the shot list tab once you create the project.
Choose an orientation
Your project can be shot in landscape mode (horizontal) or portrait mode (vertical). Keep in mind that you’ll need to stick with one orientation for your whole project. Landscape works perfectly well for most projects, but you may choose to create a portrait project for publishing to Snapchat or Instagram.
Choose project settings
If your team is part of an Enterprise package, you will have the ability to choose whether your project is a team project or a social project.
A team project allows you to assign teammates to your project and invite an unlimited number of collaborators to contribute.
When you choose to create a social project, Cinebody will generate a unique code that you can share with your followers for mass fan contribution! Anyone who enters the code into the Cinebody Mobile App can instantly join your social project and start contributing to it.
What if I don’t want a specific person to join my social project?
Currently, you cannot preliminarily exclude users from joining your project. However, you can block a user once they have joined. They will not be able to rejoin a project once you have blocked them unless they are specifically invited by a teammate. To block a collaborator, click the thumbnail of a clip they have synced to the platform and click “Block User”.
Set project title and description
Now that you’ve got the blueprint for your project in place, it’s time to create a title for your project and add a description. Once you have added these details, just click “Create Project.” And that’s it, your new project is born! Next, you should customize the shot list and work on putting together your project team before you activate your project.
